Our #ESR Alejandro Antón Ruiz presented his paper Impact of Excitation and Weighting Errors on Performance of Compact #OTA Testing Systems at eucap euraap. In his work, he explores the impact of complex excitation errors of a chamber array antenna on the accuracy of the test zone of a random line-of-sight over-the-air testing setup. Several combinations of compact chamber arrays of different lengths and distances emulating a plane wave impinging at the test zone were obtained. The similarity of the obtained field distribution to that of a plane wave was assessed. Moreover, the performances of the matched filter and zero-forcing (ZF) algorithms were evaluated for DuT’s array weighting coefficient errors showing that the errors were more significant at higher SNRs and the ZF was more sensitive to errors.
