It is such an honor to have Prof. Reiner Thomä as a collaborator on the ITN-5VC project, being one of the early promotors of the concept of #ISAC. Today the #ESRs received an exciting lecture covering the fundamentals of #ISAC and some of the main challenges and research directions still open on this hot topic. To paraphrase Prof. Thomä’s closing remarks: “There is a lot of research to be done. Let’s do it!”
